This non-credit graduate tutoring course provides one-on-one English speaking and listening support to advanced graduate students, visiting scholars, postdoctoral researchers, and junior faculty members of any department and disciplinary writing background to develop and improve their oral communication and presentation skills. Possible oral communication skills include: class presentations, discussions, conference presentations, roundtables, poster presentations, job interviews, and research talks.  This course offers the structure of an intensive graduate ELL oral communication course (with a textbook utilized by tutor and tutee as a useful resource) while offering a great amount of flexibility in scheduling and pacing to best meet the scholarly and professional goals of the individual student.
